Ganesha Obstacle Remover

Ganesha is prominently known as the remover of obstacles. Because of this, many Hindus worship him before any major endeavor they undertake – be it business, marriage, childbirth, etc. More importantly, however, he also removes obstacles on the soul’s spiritual journey and, is, therefore, prayed to by people all over the world. 

Lord of Good Fortune who provides prosperity, fortune, and success.  He is the Lord of Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles of both material and spiritual kinds.

“Most beloved Ganesha, I welcome you into my life. May my heart be filled with your love and your laughter, and may I always be guided by your wisdom. Please remove any obstacles in my path and grant me peace of mind to understand my journey and make choices that benefit myself and others. I give thanks for your presence and your guidance. May laughter fill my days and joys  enfold my heart. Thank you, Ganesha.

Why I made this:  From 2017-to 2020 it felt like the universe was throwing every obstacle at me. From stage two melanoma to the removal of my gallbladder, to falling into depression. I had the weight of the world on me and I grew a strong bond with Ganesha. He is the “remover of obstacles” after all. I learned about Ganesha’s story and who he was. (You can research all this online) and grew a strong liking to him. One day I was in a shop and saw a statue of him. I was in awe because I wasn’t in Bali or India I was in Las Vegas and there he was just one. So I took him home and began my relationship with Ganesha. 

No matter what beliefs you’ve grown up with I think you should always follow your soul as it knows the way. 

I grew up Catholic and still speak to God every day. My relationship with Him is strong. But I find myself more spiritual and I have also taken a liking to other entities (gods and goddesses) and I know God is ok with that because our relationship is good. 

I am not here to tell you what you should or should not believe in. Or what is right or wrong. I just wanted to add this as I know some Catholics and Christians struggle with this as to what they were taught. I went to Catholic schools my whole life and I still go to church on Easter Sunday.  But I have also taken a liking to many other beliefs and religions. It’s like I take a little something from everywhere and make my own practice. 

You will see this across my shop as I continue to add more stuff with other gods/goddess names.

 All candles are handed poured with natural soy wax. Each candle I create I make with love,  good vibes, and powerful intentions. 

 **When lighting your candle be sure to burn it all the way to the edges before blowing it out, especially your first burn. Your candle has a memory. The wax will only melt as far as it did the first time you burned the candle.
